Stew before the show
serving dinner before each show:

following the success of the borscht, patrick and i decided we are going to offer soup or stew each tuesday before the show. im going to try to do these vegan, though we might end up doing a couple so that we can offer some cream or beef soups. patrick loves beef stew and im a sucker for cream and cheese soups. but vegans! dont despair! you are way too easy to accommodate, and we will always have something for you. people keep asking me if they can bring something, and we dont really need anything. you are always encouraged to bring booze to share, and if you are excited about the stews you can always bring some sort of dried bean pea or other grain, root vegetable, or whatever and ill save it for the next weeks stew. alternately, if you are vegan, we dont really have fancy vegan things like fake sour cream or fake parmesean or whatever else you might want as a soup topping- so bring that if you want it, but dont bring it just for us, we wont use it.
