Tim Burton Marathon and Sweeney Todd
its been a while since ive made an update, and this one is a bit last minute... but! we are hosting a tim burton marathon this saturday starting at 12 noon and going until we just cant go anymore. there are enough films out there that we wont actually be able to watch all of them (not even if it we go all night) so we are just going to watch what we feel like watching and go as long as we can. ill have food and coffee, but you are encouraged to bring booze as we only have a little of that. so far, many people have said they will come by either before or after work, so dont feel like you have to commit to a certain amount of time. stop by anytime, watch what you want to watch, eat what you want to eat, drink what you want to drink, and dont worry about showing up in the middle of something. if you would like to call first, feel free, my number is 267-968-9919. and, as always, feel free to bring anyone you like.
following the marathon, this tuesday (january 15th) we will not be hosting a film, but we will be going to see sweeney todd, probably at the riverview or bridge theater (the riverview is closer.. but such an awful theatre it might be worth going out to west philly). everyone is welcome to come, and i will post the showtime and theatre we will be going to on the website this weekend.
last piece of news, is that angelo is scheduled to begin his presentation on alejandro jodorowsky on tuesday the 22nd. he is also working on a play right now, so if the dates change i will let you all know, and maybe do some filler with a the tarkovsky films a lot of people missed.
